Besides the many boutiques and restaurants, one of the great things about living in Old Town is the rich history behind many of the historic homes and streets. Princess Street is one of the few streets that is still paved with cobblestones, and though not friendly to a stroll in heels, is a popular spot for engagement photos with couples from across the metro area. Ted and I enjoy strolling around the streets of Old Town on the weekends, often stopping for lunch or an ice cream cone. We usually vary our route around town because we always notice a historic plaque or cute town home that we haven’t seen before. If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend heading over to this part of town for brunch at Jackson 20 or Virtue Feed & Grain and shopping on a Sunday afternoon. Bishop Boutique, Duchess M, and The Shoe Hive are a few of my favorites!
