It’s true what they say, “You can take the girl out of the South, but you can’t take the South out of the girl.” Since moving to Alexandria, we’ve been saying that what Old Town really needs is a great southern restaurant, and I couldn’t have been more excited when I heard that a new place was opening on King Street called Magnolia’s. If Magnolia’s isn’t a classic southern restaurant name, I don’t know what is!
